Cross Functional Analysis (aka X-Functional Analysis) is the process of:

1. Determination which Business Processes are participating in the analysis;

2. Identification of sub-processes that participate in the Business Process;

3. Decomposition of the sub-processes into activities that make-up these processes (aka "As Is");

4. Identification of End-Users owning / participating in these processes and associating these with the Sub-process activities; 

5. Recommending measurable means that will improve the activities (aka "To Be") from the perspective of:

5.1 Reliably;

5.2 Timeliness;

5.3 Efficiency;
