
The Business Analysis Activities
The BA's assignment is comprised of 4 basic activities:

understanding the business;

Defining needs and Requirements;

Analysing the needs and requirements; and
-
defining a sutable High-Level solution.
The requirements may be few or many. When the number of requirements from becomes unmanageable from their complexity perspective, the BA uses Requirement Management tools to assist all involved in defining thr project's deliverables e.g.:

Stakeholders / End-Users;
-
Business Analysts;
-
System Architects;
-
Developers; and
-
Testers.
Requirements Management is the process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and agreeing on requirements and then controlling change and communicating to relevant stakeholders. It is a continuous process throughout a project. The Requirements Management tools available in the marketplace are many and they are as good as their users knowledge of using them. they include:
